Biography

Qian Hangen, Chief Physician, works in the Department of Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. He graduated from Guangzhou Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1990 and studied for a master's degree at Soochow University Medical College from 1993 to 1996. In 1999, he received advanced training in microsurgery at Wuxi Hand Surgery Hospital; in 2008, he went to Dalian for specialized study of head and facial aesthetic anatomy and aesthetic techniques; and in 2009, he went to South Korea for short-term exchange and training in aesthetic surgery techniques. He has received the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress at the ministerial level from the Nuclear Industry Corporation, the Second Prize for the Introduction of New Medical Technology from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Health, the Second Prize for the Introduction of New Medical Technology from Suzhou Municipality, and the Key Problem Tackling Cup of the “Double Cup Award” Competition for Suzhou Science and Technology Progress.

Specialties: various personalized double-eyelid blepharoplasty, refined aesthetic rhinoplasty of nasal subunits, breast augmentation, liposuction and body contouring, reconstruction of body surface organs, and other plastic and aesthetic techniques, as well as minimally invasive aesthetic techniques for facial features. He has conducted in-depth research on the surgical treatment of various traumatic wounds and diabetic limb preservation.
